IBM Model M 1388032 industrial
The second version of the model M is the first that can be used with a PC.
The 1388032 can be identified by the olive-grey (industrial) color of the case, the square black logo on the right hand side, the removable black spiral cable with a DIN5 connector and the LEDs underneath the logo.
My 1388032 has a very early production date (1985-09-12), a low serial number and like every Model M produced in the US up to May of 1986 a barcode on the label.
The 1388032 was introduced in 1985.
